The patient journey

Confidence in our care

We take the health of our patients and staff very seriously and we have risk assessed your journey through the practice. We aim to operate contactless arrivals and departures. The only contact should be in the surgery which is and always has been fully disinfected between patients.

Treatment Restrictions

Following the relation of COVID 19 restrictions we are once again able to offer routine checkups and provide AGP's (aerosol generating procedures eg. fillings, scale and polish).
However due to the backlog created by the severe restrictions that were in place during the pandemic we are currently continuing to contact patients who have not had routine care since pre March 2020 and our capacity is still reduced.

What happens before my appointment?

We are currently only able to see patients in the practice if they have pre-booked an appointment.

We have planned our dentists appointment diaries to minimise  contact with other patients at reception or in the communal areas.

We will telephone you prior to your appointment to complete a COVID-19 screening checklist. If you have any respiratory symptoms eg. cough, cold or runny nose you will need to rebook your appointment. If you require emergency care please contact a member of our reception team.

Please bring only essential personal items and preferably put these in a bag or pocket.

What do I do when I arrive ?

A member of our team will meet you at the inner glass door at our entrance. They will be wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in line with Government advice.

You will be asked to sanitise you hands, there is no need for you to wear gloves.

We would ask that all non-exempt patients pay for their treatment on the day of their appointment. If possible it would be helpful if you could use contactless payment.
